Our only hope when war comes is that we take a significant chunk of what lies between Moscow and us, and clamp on it like a bulldog on a toddlers leg. Do what they’re currently doing in East Ukraine and dig in until they wear themselves out.
I wonder what would’ve happened if the USA decided back in 1945 to drop its two nuclear bombs on Moscow and Leningrad instead of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The Soviet Air Force was in shambles from war-weariness and Enola Gay could’ve likely reached the cities without being shot down.
Mathias Rust demonstrated in 1987, that even at that time, you could’ve snuck a pocket nuke to Red Square in a Cessna.
No one wants ICBM with a nuclear head to crash in Europe, so really we all no this won’t happen only conventional troops in Ukraine under the umbrella of France.
