  1. Well if that’s not sticking to brand, I don’t know what is.

  2. > “Following my speech, the far-left media didn’t waste a second flooding the airwaves with despicable, disgusting messages about me,” the email read. “They attacked my character.

    > They attacked my faith. They attacked my identity as a mother and a wife.”

    > “Not for myself, but for my children, your children and the ENTIRE next generation of Americans. Why? Because I didn’t prepare a 20 minute speech and stand up to Biden in front of millions of Americans for ME. I did it for them, for YOU and for your children, Friend!” she wrote.

    > “So as I watch the dishonest leftist media and the liberal elites making a mockery of everything I’ve dedicated my entire life to protect, laughing at the destruction of the American Dream, disrespecting how our country has descended into a dystopian nightmare for countless families…I’m disgusted,” she went on.

    > “And I know you are too, Friend. So I’m counting on you to send message [sic] with me!” the message urged.

This is all so predictable. Instead of just apologizing for lying, Republicans always double down when caught in a big lie and then whine how the media and liberals are too mean to them for calling it out. And then try and make money off it.

  3. “They attacked my character. They attacked my faith. They attacked my identity as a mother and a wife.”

Ah no… the media attacked the stupid sh*t you said… along with the rest of the world.

  4. > ~~Katie Britt~~ Republicans Blame Everyone but themselves ~~Herself in Shameless Fundraising Plea~~ always

    FTFY

  5. While watching her speech, I keep wondering, when did Serena Joy (The Handmaids Tale) dye her hair brown?

  6. She, like so many Repugs, should not be anywhere NEAR power.

  7. Did she grin like a complete psycho at the event like her SOTU response in her kitchen?

  8. > Katie Britt Blames Everyone but Herself

    Republican SOP

  9. *This* is MY **kItChEn**, where my HUSBAND and I sit around tHe *table* late into the niGhT, dissecting the small *mammals* we’ve **trapped** throughout the day and eating their still-beating hearts **RAW**.

    *bursts into tears while orgasming*

  10. When at first you don’t succeed….blame everyone but yourself

  11. 42-year-old Queen Baby needs to grow up. Katie Britt is pathetic.

Saddest thing of all is she’s a parent. Seems like the least capable, least prepared, least intelligent and least qualified people are the most likely to be parents in 2024.

God help us all when these people’s kids are adults in 20 years.

  12. The girl at a party you wish you hadn’t started a conversation with

  13. Typical of children, narcissists, and Trump republicans.

  14. In feudal Japan, Seppuku would be the only acceptable response to such a public loss of face. I am not advocating for ritual disembowelment as a cure for the ills of modern society, but the complete loss of any societal consequence for blatant lying and hypocrisy has swung the pendulum too far in the other direction

  15. >“Following my speech, the far-left media didn’t waste a second flooding the airwaves with despicable, disgusting messages about me,” the email read. “They attacked my character.

Hey don’t sell yourself short. I saw plenty of clips of right wing pundits shaking their heads in disbelief at your creepy speech.

  16. Or maybe bc her speech was objectively weird and cringey and dishonest (and did I mention cringey and super fucking weird?). Always playing the victim…so predictable.

  17. I’m actually surprised she didn’t try to say the “woke media” is trying to put her back in the kitchen and reduce her rights as a woman.
The typical republican playbook is honestly just “do something and say that democrats are doing the thing.”

  18. A woman, republican, dodging accountability. Nah I don’t believe it /s

  19. Republicans haven’t always been this way. Perhaps Trump’s most enduring legacy is how he’s taught right wingers to follow the Roy Cohn approach. Never admit fault. When criticized, double down and claim your opponent has done what you’ve been accused of, only worse. The truth doesn’t matter. Just repeat your preferred narrative over and over until at least some people buy in.

There can be no legitimate public discourse with people who don’t consider public discourse legitimate. Unless and until Trump loses his grip on that party, it’s imperative that every American who supports this country oppose all Republicans at every level.

  20. Party of personal responsibility.*

    *for thee, not for me

  21. Now that’s a maga move, everyone’s fault but mine please give me money

  22. If conservatives were capable of introspection, they wouldn’t be conservatives.

  23. I couldn’t help myself so I went on r/conservative to see what they thought and they didn’t like her either.

  24. How much longer do we really have to deal with this? When is this bubble finally going to pop?

  25. I like the frequent use of “friend”. She is no friend of democracy, only distorted theocracy.

  26. The vast majority of Americans have no idea what the far left really is. BTW the people she is accusing ain’t it.

  27. Blames Everybody but Herself…. This sounds typical coming from a Republican Christian.

  28. I love how these people hang themselves from the martyr cross after despicable acts and beg the attention.

    > **”Oh poor me! …they attacked MY faith, MY womanly “barefoot” identity, they mocked me as a mother and wife….”**

    > **”I AM TAKING THESE ARROWS FOR ALL OF YOU!”**

These people are really weird and deeply fucked up psychologically.

  29. I caught a few bits and pieces of her speech. She sounded like she does commercial voice overs for the ASPCA. “Please save these animals. Enough is enough. Innocent American animals are dying and you only have yourself to blame. For only .76 cents a day, you too can help us republicans save the animals, but not your kids or rights. The animals have rights too.”

I had to turn it off. the fake tears, the whinny voice.

  30. Any death of the American Dream is the fault of endless greed and the rout of the middle class, who can’t afford housing, medical, education….

And the minority of ultra rich Americans who consistently support conservatives are to blame for this. Because they want pornographic stacks of cash and vote for those that let them keep it.

    Like Britt.

  31. Enough with your stupid faith and your children. Give meaningful speeches with actual ideas with substance rather than just harping the same stupid arguments over and over again. Fear is all they know and they think it’s working, sure on morons that live under a rock it does but not the general public

  32. Always the victim, after getting called out on their own actions ..

  33. Wait a minute. If Katie is a true American Republican Conservative Mom and she needs more money, shouldn’t she just ask her husband?

  34. God damn it I’m so tired of people getting away with lying. The world is so full of factual, proven information that can definitively prove them wrong and yet…They still get away with it somehow. Our legal system needs to address this issue with ferocity. There’s no room for this shit anymore it’s causing genuine harm.

News and Politicians should be HAMMERED with severe fines every time they are caught in a lie. A streamlined process that makes it inconvenient as hell to be incorrect and make every single person with a platform double check their claims before putting that shit on the air.

  35. If you can remember a time before the golden escalator, it wasn’t uncommon for politicians of either party to apologize or walk back problematic statements.

But no more: The Republican response is to feign victimhood (a la Nancy Mace / George Stephanopoulos) or find a way to blame the “liberal” media and Democrats.

Apologizing and accepting responsibility is something I teach my five year old child. But these middle aged men and women still haven’t mastered it.

  36. Kind of like Trump going to prison for the rest of his life, but he is really doing it for his followers.

  37. Someone please tell “Friend,” Ms. Britt, that the bananas in her kitchen fruit bowl look like they need to be used. I’m sure her White Christian Nationalism will allow her to bake a loaf of banana bread for a White child who doesn’t have anything to eat.

  38. Why is that surprising? Typical MAGA Republican responses when they do something moronic. Blame everyone else!

  39. Fuck I love a passive aggressive use of ‘sic’

  40. She should be thankful for the leftwing media giving her so much attention. Without them, the future commanders of Gilead would never have known she existed.

  41. > I didn’t prepare a 20 minute speech and stand up to Biden in front of millions of Americans for ME. I did it for them, for YOU and for your children, **Friend**!” she wrote. I’m disgusted,” she went on. … “And I know you are too, **Friend**. So I’m counting on you to send message [sic] with me!” the message urged.

They truly have morphed with the 700 Club, haven’t they? Their entire schtick is evangelical in nature, even when it isn’t directly religious.

For the record, sorority-girl Katie Britt would **never** be friends with 99.9% of the people she is asking for money.
