‘Apologies – we are being invaded…PS can you vote for me!’
The Special Military Operation is special like you wouldn’t believe.
1- Putin invades Ukraine, wasting Russian lives.
2- Russians rebell against Putin’s war.
3- Putin causes civil war inside Russia.
4- …. Putin threatens to use nukes ?
Who would he nuke?
He’d either nuke Russians on Russian soil, or Russians on Ukrainian soil he vowed to reintegrate. In other words, he’s either threatening to use nukes becauae of his failure to invade and conquor a neighboring sovereign country, or he’s using nukes to quell a rebellion in his own orchistrated Russian civil war.
Either way, were he to use a nuke in either fashion, the UNGA would likely kick Russia off the UNSC and vote to a global trade ban against Russia as well as seisure of all Russian assets abroad. Next would follow a total civil war at home, and a breakdown of Russian central control.
Lastly, there was mention that the USA had warned Russia of direct intervention if nukes were used.
Putin nuclear button is actually his suicide pill.
What is going on in his sick head? He sees the whole war as a card or board game where you can swap countries with each other. Can he even imagine that a lot of human suffering is involved?
“But thirdly – if something works out, to get some chance, some argument, some trump card in a possible future negotiation process: well, we’ll return this to you, and you return that to us,” -Putin
He’s basically admitting they can’t just go take it back, that they’re already considering how to negotiate with ukraine for it.
The cracks begin to show…
