  2. I bought my first house at 22 back in the early 2000s. My advice to everybody looking to emulate this kind of thing is this…

    * Be born in the era where banks were offering 100%, even 110% mortgages to kids who don’t yet even really understand what an interest rate is.

    Just to put this in a bit more perspective. At the same time as this, I was offered a credit card with a £70’000 limit. I was earning £26K.

    This, is why the financial system shit itself.

  3. I bought my first house when is was 20 , it was only £30k though and the mortgage payments were only £160 a month, If I’m being honest I only bought it because it was cheaper than renting, sold it in 2009 for £80k
