  1. Yes, but do expect some degradation of the images as long as it’s been stored in the container at a consistent temperature you should still get something.

  2. Yeah, looks to be standard colour film, it ?might say “process C-41” on it somewhere which will confirm.

As the other commenter said depending on how old it was and how it was stored he images might be somewhat degraded, but I had some 40 year old colour film from my grandparents loft developed and it still produced salvageable photos!

I’m not sure if any boots stores do in-store developing anymore but many certainly still do a postage service from store I think. The Snappy-snaps down the road from me still does 1hr developing which I find is acceptable quality on the odd occasion I use colour film!

  3. Seconding what other people have said. I’ve developed film from the 70s/80s before and it’s come out, usually on a very orange tint, but still visible. You can usually ask to have it put on CD fairly cheaply, if you think you might want to colour correct it. To me, that looks like something from the 90s so depending on how it was stored it will probably come out with a reasonable amount of colour shift. Under where it says how many shots there are on the roll it should have the process listed, but IIRC it’s C-41, which is a standard development process, and anywhere that does 1hr processing should be able to take it. If it has something else listed, you might need to find somewhere that does black and white film because they have more processes available.

  4. Any Boots that has a photo printing section also has a developing service. It’s about £15 and takes around 7-10 days.

  5. Hopefully it’ll be some long lost family snaps which will being you happiness and this is not a way to find out your mum & dad had previously unknown weekend social activities…..

  6. Found some Kodak 126 at my Grandparents house that hadn’t been developed and the photos on that turned out fine. It was largely just photos my brother and I had taken when we had been messing about with the camera in the 90s

  7. Be interesting to see the pics, a glimpse in to a bygone era that we all remember.

Get it developed and post the pics up so we can all reminisce.
