Interesting, if the picture really shows the drone type used.
I’m seeing an undercarriage with wheels, that means it is probably not catapult or rocket launched but rather took off from a runway of sorts (could be just grass or gravel). Having the wheels on causes drag which reduces speed and range, so for very long range one way drones you would preferably use a catapult launch of some kind and omit the landing gear. Could it be launched from inside Mordor? It would make sense to have wheels for that, so you don’t need to bring a launching device.
Of course it could simply be a multirole drone model, which can be used either in the one way kamikaze role or for reconnaissance with the capability of returning home for reuse. Having landing gear makes reusing the drone more practical.
