I knew as soon as wide spread tracking was available it was going to be everywhere. Are people really shocked?
We’ve known this for decades, I guess they’ve just finally got enough data for someone to get sued, lose their job or possibly (hopefully) for someone to legislate over it…
Question: so if this is a survey of low atmosphere methane, how come cattle production doesn’t show up? Ohhhh that’s right, because that’s bullshit.
Article doesn’t give a specific estimate of methan emissions as a result of this study. Some have placed total warming of NG to be almost as high as coal. Then, when adding the emissions of LNG conversion, and storage, more emissions than coal for energy delivered to EU.
There are satellites launched recently which will be able to provide such a specific estimate. But OP needs to make/state some range.
ALL is worst as « we » thought !
Drilling companies cam called a well inactive and they don’t have to cap them properly , some have been inactive for decades
Let’s add “worse than we thought” to “sooner than expected” for the Climate Change drinking game.
Because it’s better to be completely plastered while this is happening.
I sometimes wonder if the number of things impacting the climate is just so large that all of our models are wrong.
I mean trying to create a model to account for…the world..has to be a difficult task.
UsA is pro active not burning the methan which would reduce the output up to 90%. Burning pipes dont look nice that was the only reason the did it not…
