BBC News – Politician admits behaving badly on Plaid Cymru night out
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-politics-68560284
Absolutely disgraceful that we don't have the power of recall that exists in Westminster. It has been something that has really worked well since it's introduction and definitely something that should also be available here.
I get there is the additional complexity of it being a regional seat, bit it's not beyond the wit of our politicians to propose solutions to that.
What is more shocking is that this exact proposal has been made as part of the Reform Bill, and Labour and Plaid (unsurprisingly in the circumstances) voted it down.
People always, rightly, say Westminster should learn from what the Senedd does well. But that works both ways, and the Senedd really does need to give the electorate the option to recall in circumstances like these.

A Plaid Cymru politician being a wrong’un? I find that incredibly difficult to believe.
It’s a requirement to be in PC isn’t it ? ……..They seem to be a magnet for these type of people.
BTW ….what does the Senedd do well ?……….
Is South Wales Central cursed territory for Plaid or something?
We got rid of Neil McEvoy at long last but then got this guy instead
