So two years after starting the war, they’re “preparing” for it? I guess three days till taking Kyiv didn’t work out so well for them.
I’ve been thinking, it seems to me that a lot of the world’s problems would disappear, if two people disappear. And assassinating Putin does not even qualify as something Russia can retaliate with nukes for.

The true outcome will be unknown until Putin is either ousted from power, or dies. It makes you very curious as to who his successor would be, and how different they are. Historically the soviet union has a history of drastic reform every time a new leader took office, with the most famous being the de-Stalinization of the country under Khrushchev. Here’s hoping we’ll have an era of de-Putinisation.
if Putin engaged in conventional warfare with the US and its partners, it would not be a long war. Putin would be dead within weeks. and if America wanted to, already shitty Russian cities would be reduced to rubble. not even a real fight.

I do not think that Russia can survive a war with the west when it can’t even suppress Ukraine. I see Ukraine getting stronger and Russia getting weaker.
The west needs get it together and back Ukraine to all of their ability and stop this terrible war. Russia is only dangerous because their leader is stupid and their population is too meek to override Putin.
