  1. To be fair she wants me to hate all stupid women. Especially ones that got to a position they are not qualified for.

  2. Surely she has accepted the apology and moved on.
    I mean,no has shot her…

    /S

  3. If that isn’t the whole issue in a nutshell. Being spoken about and ignored as if you’re not even there!

    Appalling.

  4. Hoyle the doormat sidelining her because Sunak and Starmer both want her kept quiet.

  5. She was denied nothing “Commons oral questions are tabled by MPs at least three days in advance of the Question Time the relevant government department is due to answer.” She had nothing to say (other than possibly to have a justifiably angry dig at Rushi )

  6. Well she’s as thick as pig shit and a bigot to boot so maybe she should be kept out of it

  7. ”Its so terrible this happened to her after being threatened with a nuke dropping on her house”- this sub

as standard the story is now she’s been threatened with murder instead of racist comments, she was probs closer to being murdered when her son chased her round the house with a pair of scissors than any notion of a jo cox or david amess event happening to her because of comments made 5 years ago

  8. They should stop talking about it and just have a race

  9. The comments where maybe in poor taste but I think racist is a stretch

If someone said Donald trump made them think less of men if wouldn’t be thought of as sexist

Asking for people to be shot in the non literal manner is maybe bit on the edge but hardly uncommon but it’s a turn of phrase

Abbott has been subjected to a lot of racism as a black woman of her age and that isn’t right. But she’s also a fucking bellend.

  10. It’s disgraceful she was not allowed to speak, If the country is going to go down the pan I at least would like to laugh as we go and laughs are never in short supply when Diane opens her mouth.

  11. She’s that much of a gobshite she would probably do more harm than good if she was ‘heard’ – she should have been binned along with that twat Corbyn long ago.

Not like her to play the ‘racism’ card though eh?

  12. Lord what a fucking miserable thread this is. An MP has faced racist abuse and death threats but 80% of the comments are attacking *her*.

  13. Dianne Abbott cannot sit there with a clear conscience. She has been wronged this time, but let us not forget, she was suspended last year, for being racist herself.

  14. Don’t care. It’s a serious issue but she is awful and the less I hear of her the better.

  15. It wasn’t so long ago people in this sub were calling protesters to be arrested and we should all lose our freedom to protest, for “threatening” MPs.
Today when there’s a real threat that says an MP should be shot, the same members rather focus on the history of the MP. Tells you everything you need to know.

  16. I don’t care about her colour. I’m just wondering how someone this thick gets to be in her position…..oh wait

  17. I think freedom of speech is important, especially here where she represents a community and speaks on their behalf.

I’m sure whatever she has to say is going to be ridiculous nonsense but I’ll defend her right to say that nonsense.
