Barça’s move to the quarterfinals after their victory against Naples opens the possibility that two of their most important players, Frenkie de Jong and Pedri , can play in the next tie. In MD we already reported that the Canarian could reach the Classic and, once the team has reached the quarterfinals of the Champions League, both he and the coaches and doctors consider that he could help in that tie, even if it were in the second leg. His muscle injury to the rectus femoris of his right leg was less severe than initially expected and that gives him room to play in the Champions League and also at the Bernabéu against Real Madrid. The Canarian player wants to play but, yes, his feelings will always mark the final outcome of his participation.
In the case of Frenkie de Jong , the options for him to play in the next Champions League tie are even clearer. The Dutchman suffered a sprain to the external lateral ligament in his right ankle but is making a good recovery and it is expected that he will be able to reach the first leg of the quarter-final without problems. Ferran Torres will also be able to play this tie fully recovered.

Ffs when can we have both fit and firing again?
I know this would be incredible, but Ferran and Cubarsi have something cooking atm. I hope we find a spot for him to start.
Please, let’s leave Pedri alone and let him recover normally. He’s been through some shit.
Siiiiuuuuuuu
Well that’s not bad, I don’t believe it, but not bad
