**German companies move to Poland because they have excellent conditions there, write the German media.**
More and more German companies are moving to Poland, writes the German magazine “Focus” on its website. It refers to the manufacturer of household appliances – Miele – which announced the transfer of production to Poland, justifying it with lower costs and less bureaucracy.
There are currently approximately 9.5 thousand in Poland. companies with a German owner. And the number of these companies is increasing, we read.
In Poland, only advantages
When relocating a business to Poland, the main attraction is the existing infrastructure, low bureaucratic obstacles, very well-educated specialists, and sometimes tax breaks, says a manager who supports German companies wanting to establish a presence in Poland. He also lists other problems: “German work ethic does not meet modern requirements,” he says. And he explains that Polish specialists are much more motivated in terms of their own development and show greater interest in the company’s success. The culture of errors in Poland is also different, and the employee feels personally responsible when something goes wrong in the company.
The manager states that in new Polish locations, companies sometimes achieve higher profits and work more efficiently. Moreover, women in managerial positions are more appreciated in Poland.
German bureaucracy is a deterrent
The SWR radio station also reports on investments in Poland. He reports that the German company Kempf, which has been producing agricultural and construction vehicles for 75 years, wants to invest more in Poland in the future.
The company has two locations in Germany in Rhineland-Palatinate , but also two plants in Kowary for three decades. In the long term, the company plans to invest primarily in Poland, and this is related to the current conditions in Germany, says the company’s director, Manuel Kempf, to SWR. He explains that it is about frustration with politics and the economic situation.
“We all want to build a great product with delighted employees. And at the end there should still be money left to invest in the company,” says Kempf. The entrepreneur praises that in Poland many matters are approached more pragmatically. In Germany, however, it is increasingly difficult to invest and make progress.
This trend is also confirmed by the Koblenz Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IHK). This applies to all sectors, and the situation is as bad as at the beginning of the coronavirus crisis, reports SWR. He refers to IHK data, according to which almost one third of industrial companies (especially energy-intensive ones) are planning or are already moving production abroad.

At what is Poland better than Germany, at not caring about the protection of the environment, climate changes, higher corruption level?
It’s incredible to see the development and transformation of Poland, both economy and millitary wise.
They really couldn’t be bothered to find a photo of Warsaw younger than 10 years old, could they?
From everything I’ve heard (aka my friend living in Germany and he is very biased) the country is technologically stuck in the 90s. We have blik, paczkomats, fast internet and he complains about banks still using fax, shit postal services and shit internet. Can anybody from Germany confirm or deny this? (My friend lives in Baden btw)
As a German, I couldn’t blame them and would probably do the same.
Yeah, because we are cheap labour and basically a little China in Europe with worse workers rights and general slave mentality
So Kaczyński was right all along… Germans come to Poland 🤣
Someone missed the news of the past decades.
German companies have been near shoring for that long and obviously for economic reasons that currently are growing again, just like in the 2000s.
Most important factor: Poland is close to germany with lower wages, good education and fewer labor laws while being able to export to the German and general European market
Just shows that we need to have a stronger EU body so we can further equalize the levels of market regulation of each country.
‘Wow it’s so nice being able to take advantage of a population near us we can pay less and has fewer labor protections wow this is such a GREAT thing and not EXPLOITATION at the expense of my parent nation and my own countrymen so I can live in even more luxury man this is going great’ then they’re all ‘where are all these immigrants and poor people coming from I don’t recognize Germany anymore wah wah wah’ A classic case.
Polish workers (and eastern European workers in general) are willing to work longer and get paid less. Of course they love it.
Love Poland from Sweden! Good friends👍
Less red tapes help.
Oh, yeah, the correct party won the elections this time rather than the wrong one, time to stop shitting on Poland and start praising it instead, despite absolutely nothing significant changing in the country economy-wise in the meanwhile.
Polish employees praise Germany: “Better than in Poland”
Lol the way the article is worded is hilarious. “Poles have a better work culture” aka “we can get away with a lot more BS because they will put up with it”.
Last thing before opening reddit was literally some polish dude ranting about how it’s impossible to do business here. And now instantly this.
Best laugher today probably.
Lower wages and fewer rights for workers.
That’s what German corpos like in Poland.
They’re basically praising worse tax system (to develop country for better life overall), worker’s rights and payments. Basically reasons why we, poles, are leaving Poland to live like civilized humans and not slave labor.

There was recently an article in Swiss media too about German companies moving to Switzerland. The higher wages are apparently offset by the savings due to high bureaucracy and energy costs. [Link](https://www.20min.ch/story/produktion-billiger-in-der-schweiz-stihl-und-weitere-deutsche-firmen-pruefen-verlagerung-103048482) (it’s from a tabloid so take with a pinch of salt, their facts still seem to hold true though)
