Trump dementia kicked in and he forgot that he wasn’t talking at a private event. He seems to be deteriorating very quickly.
He means it. Why does teh press let him say something and than get a mulligan. He always means what he says.
For once, Trump told the truth, the only problem for the GOP is that Trump said the quiet part out loud.
I’d imagine doing damage control for Trump is a 24/7 effort. And a futile effort at that. He is one toilet session with his phone away from doom, every day.

If there was ever anyone who would even consider, let alone openly mention, cutting Social Security benefits and Medicare benefits, Trump is the guy! THAT ALONE should seriously cause any and all Republicans to NOT vote for him. The damage he would cause by doing that is insurmountable. The country will break out in an all-out Civil War and burn down Washington and a lot of other places too, so go ahead Trumpie, try and touch Social Security or Medicare!
