Cool now do police and TfL funding over the same period
How about instead of removing 20k experienced officers and hiring 20k brand new ones, you just hire more? If only police was patrolling, had a presence in all stations… people would feel safer and others wouldn’t feel so comfortable stealing, being antisocial etc.
Also, why not increase the funding for our judicial system as a whole? Process cases quicker and have spaces in prison?
Increase social spending for at risk youths to avoid having a large number of them join gangs?
So much can be done if our highest taxes in history, from the largest workforce in history, were put to good use, instead of being mismanaged.

What happened to the ‘intrusive staring’ thing?

There’s also been a massive increase in shoplifting and I bet those are the same people who feel entitled to push through the tube barriers. I don’t see how this is the mayor’s fault.
A lot of the things khan has asked for to improve the TfL has been turned away by the tories because they have cut the funding. All that money has gone to ppe contracts given to their friends.
