When the presidential front runner of a political party was instrumental in the formation of a mob that tried to stop the certification of the election and you were witness to it, anything but stopping at nothing to get in the way of that presidential front runner is failing yourself and everyone.
The right wing movement towards a fascistic autocratic kleptocracy has to be stopped. This isn’t a time for idealism, this is a preamble for preventing unimaginable political backsliding as a society and adversarial foreign influence on global geopolitics the likes of which we have never seen.
I hope people vote against totalitarianism so we can keep the alternatives of transfers of power at bay for a little while longer until we figure out how to stop this endless cycle of erosion and compromise tearing civil rights and financial security apart for millions.
