Theres still plenty of time until then and anything can happen, but when healthy, hes still the #1 and deserving to be the elfs goalkeeper, surely one of the top 3 ever, in my opinion the GOAT, because he transformed the way people look at goalkeepers today.
There are arguments that he is the greatest of all time, as he transformed the gk play completely and had the most unique style ever, that said only till you watch Sepp Maier who was very much ahead of his time and actually the complete package also including good football skills like neuer, in a time were goalkeepers over decades just stand on their lines. So neuer as the player he was and is pretty much wouldn’t exist without sepp maier.
Neuers style was way more unique tho and I doubt any goalkeeper can mimic neuers play in his prime, its just not possible. So in my books it is really hard, but the top 2 are sepp maier and manuel neuer, i cant decide who wins in the end.
