  1. That’s the conversation Pep was having with him on the bench “You have to come out and so it looks as if you’re injured, we can’t have you playing for Belgium right now.” Probably

  2. Did you people not see him barely move against Liverpool? It was fairly apparent to all that’s ever seen him play that he blatantly wasn’t fit.

Some proper weird thought processes going on here to think he/pep would have him deliberately play like he was not fit, take him off after about an hour and miss the fa cup game this weekend all to create the illusion he’s not fit to miss a few friendlies that he could easily just make a phone call and miss if he didn’t fancy it anyway. Thread is a tin foil manufacturers wet dream.

  3. Literally says he’s been playing with a groin issue so they would like to keep him at City , manage his playing time and injury and make sure he’s fresh in the time of Euros

  4. I swear he played against Liverpool? And was unhappy to come off?

  5. Probably much like Salah staying back it’s to prevent aggravating existing issues and continuing rehab rather than an actual fresh injury.

Plus with the Arsenal game right after the break they’ll be wanting to keep as many players in house as they can, especially after losing Ederson last week.

  6. “injured”. He’s like 95% fit but obviously City don’t want him to play meaningless friendlies.

Why these matches are even happening is beyond me…it’s not even Nations League. I get that there are EURO playoffs and they want it to be “fair”, but couldn’t they just not have the games at all that weren’t qualifiers? Give the players a rest

  7. Bro got his balls twisted after being pocketed by Endo.
