“Right” – Dr. Evil
I mean if the Jackson family are involved it’s gonna be biased as fuck so I guess we’ll see.
All musical biopics are startlingly disingenuous.
how about “Surprisingly Unnecessary”
I read an article about someone who read the script. They said the script if fully implemented into the movie wants to change people’s minds, they want to show Michael was innocent. Which isn’t surprising given the people involved.
But I’d definitely say that’s a biased take on Michael.
Oh so like Bohemian Rhapsody then
Jackson’s estate and family have to approve every word in the script, and it’s obvious that they’ll sanitize everything.
All biopics (and biographies in general) are biased towards a certain narrative.
Hearing how the surviving members of Queen demanded each respective character had to same amount of screentime , and the only member of Queen who had any faults was the one person not alive to tell their side of the story, I’m a bit worried whenever an artist or their estate has their fingerprints all over a production.

> at least one other member of Jackson’s family is on the set every day.
Yeah, this will be a very sanitised version of events.
This is like saying “The Last Dance” would have an unbiased view of the Jordan/Thomas beef.
The balls on a dude to create a one-sided material and then call another material disingenuous
Leaving Neverland was trash
Any pieces of media related to the estate of a dead celebrity is going to be sanitized beyond belief.
That’s Hollywood for you! Showbiz, baby!
Well the guy who did Leaving Neverland would know about being bias. I am not saying Mj was guilty or innocent but that do called documentary was a hit job. The guy refused to put anyone in it unless they said what he wanted can’t stand the guy
I don’t really have a stance on Jackson’s guilt either way as I haven’t seen every piece of evidence available, but isn’t it super ironic for the director of a documentary made ten years after its target died to call another piece of work about its subject disingenuous???
Prolly gonna portray him as a victim
Guaranteed flop
I mean, if you’re expecting them to touch on the scandals then you’re naive as hell lol. The estate had to sign off on it to begin with which means they literally had to have no sort of negative light on him.
Absolutely nothing in the world is as biased as something claiming to be “unbiased”
If that Freddie Mercury film can be called a biopic then anything can.
Some Biopics these days are pretty terrible anyways. Dude had such a complicated fucked up life, no one should ever make a movie about the guy.
*”Michael Jackson’s gotta think about his entire life before he plays.”*
Producers: NOOOOOOO!!
