The European Environment Agency this week released a meticulous 300-page report on climate risks facing the EU, and it can be summed up thus: Without immediate and significant action, Southern Europe is screwed.
Not surprising at all. ALL climate predictions for the last decade have been saying the area around the Med. will be hot and dry.
The southern half of Spain is already turning into a desert, while the eastern side is prone to very severe droughts.
Disappointed the article doesn’t contain the word “anthropogenic” or “human caused” next to “climate change.”
Come on, new republic, do better.
