    Edit…this looks like a training video. If I’m doing an air assault I’m carry a shit ton more mags that what I see these guys totin. No anti-armor either…

  13. i thought the same thing that this is a training video…if your getting dropped behind enemy lines your carring lots of gear,food ammo,heavy weapons,etc,etc…no yellow tape markings,guy had no mag in his AK

  18. I think there are some mind games being played. These soldiers look far to relaxed let alone under equipped to be on a mission in hostile territory. I also question Ukraine’s willingness to supply helicopters in this area.

    The reports coming from ruzzian milbloggers and propagandists are just cover for the fact they are as usual not faring very well and any incursions and successes by the RDC and their allies are very embarrassing to ruzzia, especially since it appears there are some successes and the incursion is now into the 2nd or 3rd day.

    But if it is what it say’s it is, I agree with other comments I read, don’t film and post it while being on a mission, do yr OPSEC and post it after or not at all.

    So most likely a traning video.

    EDIT: This IS a training video, you can see people doing fast rope drills from another helo at the start of the video.

    However this is likely a training video with the lack of backpacks and extra gear(especially no AT), but ruzzia has claimed that its happened, and if its true, i really hope they had all the supplies needed already there, but i doubt it, those logistics alone would be far too challenging for its value

    This troop wouldnt be combat effective for more than a day without all the extra gear, no food, little to no water and accsess must be assumed impossible to get a clean and safe source in enemy territory.
