Looking for screw urgently.

  1. Look / Ask for a “Gewindestange” in the right size. Hard to tell from a picture but seems like M10.
    Buy matching “Flügelmuttern” (the bolt).

Or, the DIY / brutalist approach: Cut of the head of an ordinary screw.

  2. Take them to a Baumarkt. Should be a wingnut ( Flügelmutter ) with screw (Schraube)

  3. It isn’t a screw. It is a wing Nut on a threaded rod. I am pretty confident every Hardware Store hast them

  4. Pretty certain you did go to the wrong shops if nobody was able to give those to you.

Visit your local Baumarkt, Obi, Toom, etc.

  5. You can’t buy this.

It’s a Gewindestange cut to length at home plus a Flügelmutter

  6. Where did you look? This looks like standard stuff. Should be en masse in any Baumarkt. Just go there, show them and they will lead you to the correct items. Or look in the area “Schrauben” (the other thing is called a Flügelmutter)

  7. Thank you guys for the input contribution in helping me find this screw. I was Toom and Obi. I checked also their website, they don’t have the exact type. I need this screw to assemble the old sofa I bought from online. The person blocked me. No refund, I have nothing do rather to find a way to manage it.

  8. Bauhaus, it has a department for loose access like this

  9. Thread could be imperial though, looks a bit wide for a metric one.

  10. Go to bauhaus or obi. Show them this pic. Or even better bring one yourself

  11. Stehbolzen M8 80mm + Flügelmutter M8, verzinnt.

    Edit: seems to be M5

  12. I am Sure you will find it in Hornbach. You can try OBI but Hornbach is surity. Recently bought the same threaded rod there.

  13. I wonder what those many shops he’s been to were. Probably supermarkets and clothing stores 😀

  14. Ask your dad or grandpa and if that doesnt work, a friends dad or grandpa. Works every time

  15. Bauhaus, in the Area where the screws are. Plastic boxes with transparent windows. Flügelmutter

  16. Holy … I was just looking for something like this (just the screw part) but all the Gewindestange were way too long. Maybe I can find it as a Flügelschraube

  17. Are you asking where your local red light district is?

  18. Any Baumarkt or Eisenwaren-Store near you should have it for sale (assuming it isn’t some exotic size/screw pitch).
