  1. Some of you may have read this story a couple of days ago of a developer who asked a judge if he donated 15K to charity could his conviction be quashed.

One of the charities has refused the donation, fair play to them.

The judge has some right egg on his face now, deservedly so for allowing someone to pay their way out of a horrendously cruel crime.

  2. Good. They should force that donation right up that feckers arsehole. Same goes for the judge who wants wealthy people to be able to buy their way out of a conviction.

Actually, if every charity refuses the donation, would that make him in breach of this condition? Because he wouldn’t actually have donated the amount stipulated by the judge

  3. Maybe he should undergo the same treatment that the badgers received?

  4. Restorative justice, bury his house with him and his family in it.

  5. WTF was there judge thinking!

Developer should be banned from developing

  6. Good on them. Cunts like these think they can do whatever damage they want and just pay it off afterwards IF they get caught. Poor badgers, doing absolutely nothing to harm anyone. As someone else said, he didn’t just destroy it, he covered it in soil so likely buried them alive / suffocated them. And he and a judge thinks paying a little bit of money makes up for it?

The treatment of animals and wildlife by people like this honestly breaks my heart. If these same people could get away with doing it to humans as well, you know well they would.
