    I would love a breakdown of what ideas white male entitlement involves.

    I’ve seen it encompassing all sorts, from feeling burnt out by the meat market on dating apps, to feeling left behind by the initiatives designed to put women into higher education and management preferentially, to expecting that a country looks after its own homeless citizens before it houses migrants. 

  3. Usually it’s not considered acceptable to claim crimes are being mainly committed by a specific group with similar levels of poverty and shared ethnicity, I’m interested to see how this story develops.

    Obviously young white men are going to be the perpetrators of hate crimes.

    That’s what happens when you make it impossible for other groups to be able to commit hate crimes by defining it as one sort of way that doesn’t allow the majority to be “hated”.

    The irony that the advocates for those kinds of legal structures complain about “structural racism” all the time seems to be lost on them.
