Just reading the headline this seems like good news. However, these would be new, separate bills to quickly pass Israel funding and then draaaaaaaag the Ukraine bill through the mud again. I hope more Republicans representatives resign and make the Republicans lose the majority and then lose it for another 2 years in November.
I hope all those that died fighting against imperial expansionism in the time it’s taken for you to get your big political W to “own the libs” was worth it, good to know how soulless they are that they are willing to watch people die to they can get paid or get a vote

When russia eventually goes into a nato country and young men are dying everywhere we will ask ourselves “why didn’t we just stop the Russians in Ukraine?”

The title of the article is a bit misleading. They’ve agreed to take a vote on it, which may or may not lead to it passing.
They don’t care about the border anyway. Wasn’t it 2018 they had the US House, Senate, AND Presidency and they didn’t do anything? Besides, if they fixed something, how could they keep campaigning on it?
This isn’t the news most of us hoped for. Check CNN’s story, the GOP want to write a new bill in line with Trumps views. It’s actually kind of a disaster if that’s what happens.
I’ll believe it when I actually see material flowing to UA again.

If they do not support Ukraine, the 2024 election will be a y total disaster for the GOP thanks to MAGA. They will lose White House, House & Senate and send the orange monster to prison where he belongs with Putin his butt buddy. The abortion laws along with getting rid of Medicare and Social Security will also bury them. They are extremists that ruined the GOP party of Lincoln and Reagan.
This is another stalling technique. Notice there already is an aid bill ready to vote on, but it won’t be that one. In other words, they want it to go through the senate, again. And the way they’ll propose it will probably be unacceptable to the democrats.
He does it to hopefully dissuade other republicans to vote against him in the ongoing discharge petition, who are also resigning out of disgust with the current state of their party, and the democrats are very close to regaining a majority in the house in this manner.
I don’t understand why Ukraine or Poland doesn’t ramp up production of artillery shells in their own country and tell the GOP to cram it? We supply them we employ lots of Americans to replenish our own hardware and stockpiles. Go figure! Republicans are just plain STUPID! Marjorie Taylor Green come to mind?
The republican party has not even bottomed out yet in its own self destruction. Just wait, trump is a agent of chaos, and i can almost certainly guarantee you they are going to follow him right over the cliff, or burn and dump him, more than likely if he loses the election, and it gets closer every week. We are witness to the entire destruction of a once indomitable, powerful political party, from its very, very beginning, to its yet to be realized end, and a period in history that will be taught, studied, and examined for hundreds of years.

Speaker Johnson is a liar. This is just a stall tactic and he’s learned from the best at stalling. This Republican congress is the least productive in decades and this is just going to prolong their lack of production. Hopefully some more sane Republicans like Rep. Buck will resign and turn the house control back to the democrats so something can be accomplished.
Sounds like more Republican bullshit. They split it, they’ll pass it to Senate again, Senate will block it for being split.
