This is another delay tactic by Johnson. Tie up these bills in subcommittees for a few more months. There’s already a Senate bill that’s going to force a vote. Johnson is trying to get people to abandon that, and work on other bills, which he’ll find a reason to reject.

They’ll bring it to a vote. That’s doesn’t necessarily mean they’ll pass it. (though many say it they will have the votes to pass).
