  1. Okay, I liked France’s stance in the last few days. But let’s be honest: France did NOT send enough military equipment to Ukraine. Proportionally speaking, even Germany sent more military aid to Ukraine than France. I hope that these words from Macron are turned into reality and not just a nice speech for the French.

  10. Macron has stepped up to the plate admirably, people questioned him at first but he has handled this situation with nothing but grace and stoicism. He was the first to pick up the phone in February 2022 and talk to Putin about this trying to get him to back down, and he is still resolute now in defending Ukraine and not letting Russia win. Great leadership. From a Brit, you Frenchies aren’t so bad!

  11. After hearing the phone call between Zelenskyy and Macron it’s hard to shake Macrons determination to help Ukraine. That phone call was not easy to receive.

  18. France has committed less financial resources than Norway and continued military exports to Russia after 2014. So far they have been little more than war profiteers with a lot of empty talk.

  19. France did not send so much weapons and ammo yet. So maybe Macron should do that instead of posing to be europe’s big man. Denmark and NL will send F16’s. Germany is laughed at but sends most of europe. So time fro France, Italy and Spain to send more.

  20. More grandstanding from Macron, like Shultz he is trying to be the middle man, probably talks to Putin every day.

    As usual it will be the US and Britain sorting it out while Macron tries to claim the credit.
