The problem with rice is that they have a high level of arsenic, and it is highly recommended that they are washed properly before cooking. You can’t do that with these, and the added fat from the meat, will likely enhance the arsenic uptake.
Perhaps something else, such as dried pasta if it has a proper surface for the meat to stick to and grow on, of the same shape would have been a better?
That being said, heck yeah, I’ll eat it if I like the flavor and texture.
