Moscow plans to mark ballot papers with the names of dead soldiers in order to boost Vladimir Putin’s support in the Russian elections, Ukrainian defence intelligence (DIU) has said.
“The Russian ‘election commissions’ will try to increase the number of Putin’s voters by attracting the so-called ‘dead souls’ to the ‘voting’,” the department posted on Telegram. “They plan to add also those who recently died, went missing or were captured.”
The department’s assessment is based on instructions from Russia’s electoral commission, which, it says, permit military personnel to vote in absentia without presenting any identification documents.
The DIU’s warning comes amid widespread reports of voter coercion as Kremlin officials predict a landslide victory for Putin after polls close on Sunday.
Can Ukraine hack the system and change their votes to the other options? Imagine putin tried to change elections in other countries and then it gets done right back at them. Muhahahaha

I never understood this. putler ia literally controlling whole russia why bother faking votes when he can simply say “I got 100% votes I win, bye.”
Well, from one hand, who cares, indeed? No sane country on the Earth won’t recognise this “elections” under any conditions. From another hand, it’s pretty funny taking into account their election agitation… I’ve seen a few their election commercials. Just in short:
– Go vote, otherwise you’ll be in a homo-dictatorship future with police punishing people for being straight. Main plot is about guy from that police had to “punish” own father with big dildo for “heteropropaganda”
– Go vote, otherwise you’ll lose child birth payment. By the plot, woman attacks her husband with knife because he was too tired to go vote
– Putin agitation ad where Ukrainian soldiers meet russians, recognise each other, and going to vote for putin. End of the ad — Ukrainian soldiers burning their passports, gripping new russian ones.
And that’s just a few of them. They are so insane…
They probably have easier ways to rig the election, but at least it’s funny propaganda
I doubt they would’ve voted for the guy that sent them to their deaths…
Russia is so democratically developed that even the dead have voting rights.
