y’all are underestimating psg. we already struggle with a high line against teams like alaves and granada now imagine what mbappe and dembele could do. most teams attack from our left side and with dembele you definitely know he’s going to get past cancelo a bunch of times.
But, we definitely have the better midfield even with all these injuries and their fullbacks aren’t good at defending(like cancelo, ironically cancelo would have a field day with whoever they play at RB). their CBs are also quite short so lewandowski has an advantage there. keeping possession, no lazy passes leading to turnovers and we have a good chance
I’m starting to think we got a “good” deal here. Most people wanted Dortmund, but they are not the shitty team many believe. Remember they were first in the “death group”, which contained PSG.
Atletico would be a very tough tie, especially because of the Metropolitano. Also, let’s not forget that we were knocked out twice against them in the CL.
As for the other side of the bracket, I’m glad we moved away from all those teams. For now.
But anyway, at this stage it’s impossible to choose easy opponents. They are all hard. Should Liverpool be here, I think this would be the toughest last 8 of the CL in years.
