The combination of face coverings and motorbikes makes this feel a little like JD Sports advertising is giving a nod to some of the more antisocial behavior in Irish cities.
Maybe their next ad can be for Adidas next to a burning bus.

They look menacing alright. Are they heading into town to do some graffitis?
Has the sub peaked?
I think it’s perfect. That’s their target audience
Ye you’re not wrong. And the “sad shade of grey” trackie, the tats, the bad haircut and his samey mates behind him.
I guess I’m not their clientele then?
Top marks to their market research team.
It always felt as if JD was trying to go after a more Yup Bro’ customer than the other sports and athleisure stores. This doesn’t surprise me in the slightest.
Their demographic may very well break in there with such a luring display
They know who their customer is and what they want. It’s marketing 101.
It’s literally their customer…… fuck you mean poor taste 😂🤦♂️ the clientele literally looks like that every day
It’s giving burnt Luas carriage
I mean, they sell to scumbags and losers so I’m not surprised
absolutely not lmao
Any legit motorcyclists knows you’d have to be an absolute squid not to wear boots that protect your ankles, so even from that perspective, it’s irresponsible advertising. If those Air Max shoes are not EN13634 certified, then they have no business portraying them for motorcycle use and might actually have broken the law themselves.
I mean it’s not exactly Magee doing the advertising, what did you expect from JD?
They’re surfing on the new trend of stealing bikes… You’re talking about it and reposted it. So they did a good job at the marketing office.
Would have been funnier if they showed photos of the lads that raided the JD in town a while back
Scrote uniform. Comes with choice of a free chain cutter or burner phone. Yup bro 😂
The two-tone grey tracksuit with the tactically darker lower half to hide the permanent piss-dot…👌
Nice to see deliveroo riders can buy proper footwear now, ankle protection while riding a motorbike is very important.
Yeah you are spot on its in poor taste. Not a fucking helmet in sight, shocking H&S oversight.
JD Scrotes
That is some abysmal print work
They know their demographic…
Absolutely, but you have to commend JD for knowing their primary demographic. Not that it’s anything to be proud of.
JD advertisement aimed staring at kinahan foot soldiers
Literally a day ago a post was taken down from this sub where a lad was assaulted in the middle of our capital’s main St. By 3 scrotes on a bike, just like the lads in JDs banners. So you’re right, this is in very bad taste.
The bad part of it is that they’re advertising their trainers for use as motorcycle riding gear. Very irresponsible and dangerous. Potentially illegal.
