The whole junction at Balls Pond Road/Essex Road has been blocked off with large police and ambulance presence. Lots of busses were left empty with empty crashed cars etc. I was nearby but didn't hear anything happening so I'm curious as to what happened. Was it just an accident? Are people ok?

Blocked roads mean, usually, that they’re waiting for forensics. And some severe bodily harm has occurred.
