Can somebody explain why C?

  1. The nutriscore is a relative score, so your kimchi is compared to similar products. Calories, salt, saturated fatty acids and others like sugar all lead to a negative score.

  2. Salt, probably. Since there are no preservatives, no fat and no sugar in it, salt is the only relevant quantity for the nutriscore here.

  3. Im interested to know what super market is carrying a kimchi?

  4. Just means that there are better options in that product category. Honestly the nutriscore is kinda useless. A product that is unhealthy can still get a A rating because it’s least unhealthy. Also imo said product categories should be clearly stated.

  5. Nequik’s sugary cereal has a nutriscore A, I hope that gives you enough doubt in the score’s factuality. It doesn’t even consider fiber or vitamins, let alone the quality of the ingredients. I don’t even bother looking at this ridiculous label

  6. Check out the nutriscore calculation and you’ll find out it is completely useless 😉
