People who take an intersection like this. Why?
Pic 2 seems like the only reasonable option to correctly voorsorteer but I see pic1 happening almost every day
My best guess they either don’t care or are not familiar with the situation. In my opinion this looks badly designed. Maybe extra lines or signs could improve it but yeah… Some drivers just do not care.
You need to install TM:PE and use the lane connector tool, and then Hugo there, Hugo there, Hugo there…
Google maps telling you to go right, but not showing what you have to do after going right(which makes perfect sense).
I see this in Hasselt all the time. people taking the right lane (E313 – Antwerp) only to merge in the lanes going towards Sint-Truiden. The road signs are very clear, when I have one of these asshats next to me they’re going towards Antwerp lol
People, coexist!
cuz they are eikels that’s why
Dont know in USA but usually in my country, you would logically take the same lane on the right than the lane you come from.
Meaning, 1 st lane on the right go to first on the right. So lane 4 and 5 goes to their lanes 4 and 5.
Because the right lane goes probably faster through the intersection, and then you need to go left afterwards.
This is just another poorly constructed intersection, which Belgium is famous for. This is one of those intersections where you need advance knowledge to know the optimal sorting, but obviously such intersections shouldn’t be designed with that in mind.
More correctly there should be three lanes going right, one for each direction (left, right, straight).
Signs are often lacking in Belgium, there’s a good chance that you don’t know which lanes go to which direction until you’ve made the turn. You’re splitting 2 lanes into 5 with 3 different directions, it’s a difficult situation
