This is the most irrelevant stat ever. Madrid and City squads were much different back in 2020 when they faced in the knockout stage. I think only 22 and 23 are comparable as the squads were quite similar. But when it’s two legs it’s also quite irrelevant who won which match and rather who won the whole leg. Which is actually a 1-1 tie. This narrative doesn’t really work even though I see what they’re trying to do.
Just need to come out of the first leg with a draw or ideally a win, as long as it’s level or we’re leading on aggregate then the second leg at home will be so much easier as real can’t just sit back
