Hey everyone
I’m currently renting an apartment and I have a problem that it’s too warm inside.
I lived for a year in a different apartment before and I could control the heat (or rather the temperature) with the controls we had in every room and I would just choose whether I want it to be 5 (as warm as possible) or the freezing sign i.e. no heating.
In the new apartment I have the same controls in all the rooms but it seems like it doesn’t matter what heating level I choose.
Also, I have following control panel (pic attached) with a single button to go through different views and there’s also a view to see min / max temperature I had in the apartment (I assume this is for last 24 hours). The problem is that there’s no way to change the min / max temperatures and 24 degrees min temperature is just too much for me.
Could someone please explain to me what should I do in this case? Do I need to call the maintenance company and ask them directly or am I missing something and there’s a way for me to lower the heating of the min temperature?

What kind of heating does the apartment use? Central heating? Electric?
If it’s central, it could be that your panel does nothing and the actual control is the knobs on the radiators themselves.
Your apartment probably has underfloor heating, same as mine. Is the apartment recently built like after 2010?
The temperature regulator in the walls only deviate 2° +/- and that’s it. The real control will be somewhere in the walls (hidden metal panel) which will have knobs that you can use to adjust the hot water which flows through the pipes.
Additionally, there might also be a ventilation unit that you can use to adjust the circulation of air. It also heats and cools the air that circulates within the apartment.
However the best course of action would be to contact the landlord or maintenance company.
