  1. > But Morrow’s political platform is similarly alarming. In February, the GOP candidate advocated for an amendment to get the state Board of Education abolished, effectively handing the power to craft school policy to the superintendent—and the GOP-controlled state legislature.

North Carolina, do not let this woman get elected.

  2. I’m sure she can lay out a completely rational and provable case against Obama for why he should be executed, right? Meanwhile her dear leader is stealing nuke secrets and instigating seditious riots against the constitution and not a peep.

  3. The GOP has become a post-ideological party in which platform is irrelevant, they’ll just vote for the loudest, stupidest, craziest Twitter personality who happens to be running in that primary.

  4. So this is allowed to happen, and yet the instant any non-right aligned person even starts to look like they’re being impolite, it’s suddenly a huge problem. Wtf?

It’s like all of us are EDIT: know what; no analogy. This should be clear as day.

  5. Home school ass looser. She has not even had kids in public school in NC. She lost a race on the school board last year. Her yard signs were awful. So many errors.

  6. There are some seriously schizoid, mental case freaks over at the Conservatives.

  7. “I prefer a Pay Per View of him in front of the firing squad,” she wrote in a tweet from May 2020, responding to a conspiracy theory to ship Obama to Guantánamo Bay. “I do not want to waste another dime on supporting his life. We could make some money back from televising his death.”

The fact that a person like this gets any support from people in this country makes me think we are collectively doomed, and might deserve it. I don’t know how we rid ourselves of the pestilence Trump ushered in and normalized.

  8. 18 U.S.C. § 879 (2021)

Threats against former Presidents and certain other persons

    (a) Whoever knowingly and willfully threatens to kill, kidnap, or inflict bodily harm upon—

    (1) a former President or a member of the immediate family of a former President;

    …….

shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than 5 years, or both.

  9. Her soul is evil and dark. Really need mental hospitals evaluate their brains

  10. Calling for the internment and/or execution of political opponents is now mainstream in the Republican Party.

  11. If democrats can’t whip these guys come November, there is little hope for America anyways.

Seriously, if you can’t convince the voting public that someone what advocating for ***assassinations of former presidents*** isn’t fit to be in office… there is no America left to save anymore.

  12. Is she not being investigated by Secret Service? Former presidents have this for life yes?

  13. Wonder how she would feel if the same threats were made against her

  14. Wait. She’s trying to be a state school superintendent, and calling for Obama’s execution? To reuse a line popular with the GOP whenever someone from Hollywood says something political, she needs to stay in her fucking lane.

  15. I wont matter because they’d rather vote straight (R) than any other letter of the alphabet

  16. Isn’t a veiled threat against an elected figure something?

  17. I mean, what the fuck? Where do you even start with someone in a fight against reality?

  18. I’ll be voting against this nut. Also, doesn’t she need a visit from the FBI or something? Any normal person doesn’t get to threaten a former or sitting president without some consequences. I wish Robinson (running for governor) and this nutcase would leave the state because they truly don’t represent North Carolina at all.

  19. When people tell you who they are, believe them. This is a person that belongs under surveillance, not running for office
