  1. Surprise ! who would have thought.. Hope he looks after his “ WhatsApp “ messages better this time..

  2. Red ribbon on a donkey.

Man has been found to be a corrupt liar, in bed with criminals.

Great choice for a first minister

  3. Suppose Labour has decided to test the notion that they could never lose in Wales.

  4. Terrible news for Wales.
    The decline will continue.
Be interesting to see who he blames for the inevitable mistakes and failures once the Tories are no longer in power.

  5. He was a crap minister for health, a crappier minister for the economy so naturally he’s been rewarded for his inadequacy.

There is a problem in the Welsh Government. Our ministers are essentially cosplaying as leaders but are little more than middle managers. They do not treat the job as though they are leading a country, they do not inspire or lead in any real sense of the word, they have no grand plan for Wales or any aspirations to actually take the actions to have it recognised in its own right.

  6. Well now we know bribery does work.

The financial scandals are going to be non stop for the next few months.

  7. Outside of the City bubble, I wonder if Wales are ready to vote for a black man/non white? Besides him also being corrupt and second choice to Drakeford all those years ago. Politics aren’t the same in Wales as they were before the pandemic. We are all more aware of the powers of the First Minister. Instead of blindly voting for Labour, I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s hesitation for multiple reasons.

  8. The Senedd – a crippled sham of governance. Underfunded by Brexit and the anti devolution Anglo Supremacist Tories and doomed to fail as a result.

  9. Sad to see all the negative comments here. Why not give the man a chance? If you think you can do better why don’t you run for Senedd next election?

  10. Wow. A corrupt cunt who’s been useless in every other post he’s commanded. Labour once again shooting themselves, and the Senedd, in the foot.

  11. Wales will continue to vote Labour no matter who is FM so it isn’t a problem
