Not really a deep enough round up. Some industries are much more ahead. Games has a heck of a lot higher percentage of WFH, and even larger studios are all going 4 days a week now. It’s a young industry, with a lot of developers having very young families, so it doesn’t surprise me that it’s far quicker to change.
Shame it’s all bloody coding and graphic design work. I just want a job I can do…
It’s nonsense because practically ever single desk job can be WFH with a webcam and a printer. Really not rocket science, but then companies are paying ground rent and not using it enough.
