  2. Honestly, I’m not Turkish, I’m not an Arda fan, however I don’t see why Carlo can’t give Arda AT LEAST 15 minutes in a game. He could easily send him in alongside Modric and Nacho at the 72th minute when it’s 1-4. No, he needs to wait until the 85th minute. God knows why.

  3. The only way I see Arda playing the whole 90 mins in a game is after Madrid wins the league and there are a few games in hand. Carlo isn’t the kind of guy who takes chances. Rodrygo should consider himself lucky because he’s had goal droughts earlier in the season as well and still gets a lot of play time. But he is playing out of position. Brahim should be above Rodrygo in the pecking order on current form. And Arda definitely deserves more minutes.

  4. Ancelotti really prioritizes his veterans and I’m sure that’s why the players love him but it’s getting comical how little time he is giving Arda.

    After the Arandina game he started on January 6th, he played 39 minutes total across 15 games. He was fit and ready to play in all those games.

  5. Even though he’s shown his class across the 10 minutes between the last two games; there’s something off about him.

    I’ve been watching Arda for a long time; I’m seeing less fire in him as time goes by. For example he barely runs to defend (he used to), is very sluggish in the game etc.

    It might be what role he was given by Carlo, or that the match is already over; or it might be that he’s mentally slipping.

    Whatever it is, I hope to see him return to form. He was amazing in how he dictated the game and created incredible opportunities when he played well.

  6. I think Carlo doesn’t want to start Arda over Rodrygo because that’ll destroy his confidence, but I see no reason why he’s subbing him so late!

    I just hope that Arda won’t lose interest in Real before Carlos starts using him more. Left footed players aren’t that common and some teams most definitely have interest in him.
