‘Not at war with Russia’: European, US allies taken aback by Macron’s comments on troops in Ukraine

The French President may not have ruled out sending troops to Ukraine one day but that doesn’t appear to be the case for a number of his European counterparts German Chancellor Olaf Schultz agreed that allies would boost efforts to supply Munitions to keev but sending troops was a red

Line what was agreed from the outset among ourselves and with each other also applies to the Future namely that there will be no ground troops no soldiers on Ukraine sent there by European countries or NATO States in a joint press conference the Czech and polish premiers were also

Categorical I will not speak for both of us but I think I can say for both of us that we’re not considering sending any troops to Ukraine the NATO Chief also said the alliance has no plans to put troops on the ground in Ukraine now le to Sweden

Which is set to join NATO a spokesperson for the British prime minister said the UK wasn’t planning a large scale deployment beyond the small number of personnel already in Ukraine supporting their Armed Forces for Ukraine though just the fact that the possibility of direct military intervention was

Discussed at the meeting of leaders on Monday was good news the Kremlin on the other hand warned that if European members of NATO sent in troops a conflict between the alliance and Russia would become inevitable it seems to me that those who not only Express such thoughts but even

Allow them in their heads should use these heads for more rational thoughts safer for Europe Emmanuel mcon said on Monday that although no consensus existed on sending troops European countries had to do whatever it takes to ensure that Russia did not win the war

  1. Macron is right. It’s too risky to let Russia win and therefore troops to Ukraine can be necessary. Scholz and the rest of Europe needs to understand this when making decisions on what to supply to Ukraine.

  2. At least one EU president recognizes the danger. Plus if the EU take the lead, there might not be any need of NATO anywhere in Europe in the future.

  3. Some people are concerned that France will replace Germany at the head of the EU Table. Macron has proven to be not so easily impressed.

  4. …… Not at war with Russia????

Lmao oh man, yea ….. when you send a country weapons to kill another countries troops… thats war. Just because your troops aren't fighting in it doesn't mean you're not involved lol.

But no…. we shouldn't habe gotten imvolved or fanned the flames.

I think Europe and the US got walked into a war with good old Sleepy Joe Biden.

Even tho Europe and Biden declared victory last summer and went on about Russia sucking…… here we are. Good job guys. Because Ryssia isnt out if anything and now we are going to war smh congrats.

  6. if russia is advancing from uckraine going inside romania or finland then Nato has send in the troops,..fighting russia now is better thant fighting russia after ukcraine has been defeated..

  7. After this DRAMA .. these puppets will feel the heat and beg China and Russia to turn the fan on…. Germany already sweating!

  8. Europe is not at war with Russia, but Russia is at war with Europe. They will keep trying to salami slice eastern Europe until someone stops them.

  9. Nice that Monsieur Macron speaks to his electorate once, in addition to his backdoor negotiations with Putin.
I like Numbers: german support is 20,2 bn. € so far, french was 640 mio. German took 1,2 mio. Refugees, the french 65. 000.

  10. If Macron wants to send troops to ukraine, let him – he is on his won, except for canada who will send Comrade Turdeau so the russians die laughing!
