2. IMO, there's nothing for the Princess of Wales to apologise for. It was a beautiful photograph of her with her children released on Mother's Day. It's absolutely abhorrent that people are behaving in such a manner when all she asked for was a little privacy so she could recover in peace with her family, instead she's been subjected to the worst kind of bullying by internet trolls nonstop. They have behaved like a pack of rabbid dogs. It's disgusting. Something really needs to be done to shut down the Sussex Squad/Sugars once and for all. They are spreading like a disease.

   I wish the Princess of Wales and King Charles III a full and speedy recovery, the public are 💯% behind you.

17. I had something similar years ago. I was simply recovering from a serious issue. Years later, I discovered all sorts of nonsense was said at the time, like marriage on the rocks (in our 46th year now). It really upset me and I disassociated with those morons forever. Leave her alone you awful, short sighted, mean, nasty people. The press needs to think about what it is doing and they need to stop this brutal, horribly and quite frankly, childish behaviour. There is nothing professional about ignorance causing unnecessary harmful comments over a wedding ring! Come on! I suspect like most people that whilst recovering she may be swollen so her rings are tight and not fitting well and equally, thats her choice regardless as is editing her own photo.

The only thing I have issues with is that the Princess of Wales should not have apologised, the picture was done in fun for mothers day… It was not an official picture, but one published on one of their sites not by the Plaice to the press… If the world wants more then they can wait until she returns to work…

29. I don't understand the kerfuffle. It is highly known Their Royal Highnesses take their own family photographs, and The Princess of Wales is a very avid amateur.

    The public sees extremely edited and airbrushed celebrity photos on magazine covers all the time, but when an amateur, who just happens to be a public figure, does it, the world calls foul?!?

    Let's not forget HRH is human first and royal second. She is allowed to take on simple pleasures like everyone else.

    Just let it be. No apology had to be issued, but HRH shows once again that she is relatable.
