  1. >With this move, Mr. De Croo is threatening to ruin our country’s reputation,” reacted a Belgian government source. “This would mean the failure of the Belgian presidency,” he added. “If this is true, Mr. De Croo is abusing his position as temporary president of the EU,” Groen Party co-president Jeremie Vaneeckhout also said. “This has never happened before. It would go against the will of his governmental partners. I expect honesty from our Prime Minister, not backroom politics.” “When I heard the stories of illegal influence, I spoke to the Prime Minister about it,” said Federal Minister for Climate and Environment Zakia Khattabi (Ecolo). “He denied it. So I assume that as president of the EU, our country will continue to play the role of honest negotiator.”

It would yet be another awful scandal for the liberals

  2. Good luck growing the economy (exponentially) on a dead planet. We’ll just buy oxygen on the free market.

  3. good because if EU keeps hammering down restrictive laws in this economy instead of investing money into things and making business easier it will actually lead to even more populism and eventually the blocs dissolution. the types that post here won’t like to hear that of course

  4. Failure? Goh. We zijn met te veel op dit stukje land.
