The day this country elevated shysters, developers, bankers and bullshitters in the media to hero status we lost our way as a people. We focus on garbage issues while we condemn younger generations to this. I’m ashamed of the older generations in this country. We broke any sense of a social contract.
Absolutely appalled reading this. How are our state bodies knowingly letting a young Irish person, with his medical history and circumstances, live in these conditions. It’s a shameful indictment of what Ireland has become.

One of the richest countries in the EU…but not for the people.
Been thinking about this poor lad since I saw the post an hour ago, what a dreadful situation for him. Our government willingly turn a blind eye to things like this and it’s a disgrace. Living in a freezing cold car outside two vacant houses!!!! Is there any way we can help this chap out a bit? My heart goes out to him
I get it, it’s fucking sad it really is. But what seperates this man and the man you pass by living on the streets because of similar issues. What about everyone else in the same situation, where’s their article.
