  1. Well I mean now they at least getting attention. Otherwise I don’t even know if the protest concerning the layoffs and paycuts would have made it into the news, which is really messed up.

  2. A little better looking than an average Union protest, but what exactly are they trying to achieve? Getting rehired into industry that collapsed and no longer needs as many employess as in the past?

  3. I have been seeing on and off protests by Alitalia crew since the past 7 years frequently at Linate airport and Rome whenever I used to commute. If they didn’t care when the were operational what do you think is gonna change now.

    I mean I completely agree with the cause and demands atleast the logical ones of pending back pay, paid leave compensation etc but common a new job or forcing the new operator to hire staff that were considered not essential and up to the mark is what led to the downfall anyway..
