There is so much Thorium underground with other metals that we throw it away! Thorium that can be used for generating power. Or take nuclear waste for example! 95% of energy is still available in that waste.
But we have no technology to get all that to good use. Western Europe and US rather spend dozens of billions to feed all those “refugees” than develop Thorium or nuclear waste reactors.
