„Sie brauchen eine Rafah-Strategie, die funktioniert“, sagt Biden streng zu Netanjahu

  1. Should Israel adopt some of the methods the US employed in order to kill a million people in the middle east and then just piss off while leaving the situation worse than it was before?

Alternatively, maybe it’s time for the useful idiots in the world to sit the F down and watch Israel work.

  2. Because the US has had impeccable strategies in the past.

  3. I’m glad to see Biden leaning on Bibi and trying to temper his worst impulses, if Trump was still in office he’d have given Netanyahu carte blanch to nuke Palestine by dinnertime on October 7th.

  4. Biden is the last person that needs to be talking about a “strategy that works”.

  5. All Bibi had to say was Afghanistan, that would have been fun.

  6. Bibi has one:

    1. Evacuate the civilians

    2. Collapse all the tunnels and kill all the fighters.

    3. Rescue any remaining hostages.

  7. Why should the strategy be any different than Northern Gaza or Khan Yunis? Evacuate civilians then go in. Biden for some reason wants to prolong this war not Bibi.

  8. The Americans keep saying “there are other ways”… yet fail to suggest any. Curious.

  9. I don’t care how he gets those hostages out as long as he gets them out.

  10. I think killing jihadis on sight is a fine strategy

  11. No matter how stern the call is, Biden has made clear that he wouldn’t abandon Israel no matter what. So it’s all a show I guess.

  12. Stern? Biden went from “don’t go to Rafah” to “make sure you have a good plan for when you go to Rafah.”

  13. There are no other ways. Need to go in and get the hostages out.

  14. Bibi is a fuxking gangster who prosecutes this war with no intentions of it ending…because his ass goes to court then to jail when it concludes.

I can support Israel, despise Hamas and think they need to be destroyed, and still believe that the right wing religious loonies in Israel are bad for Israel, Palestine, and the world. Those aren’t mutually exclusive viewpoints.

  15. As a strong Biden voter who Biden’s Israeli policy hasn’t changed my mind, Biden has no clue what he’s talking about here. If Mexican drug cartels had attacked American civilians and we had taken out the cartels in all but one territory, there’s no fucking way he’d not go into that territory and demolish what’s left of the cartels. Israel has protected civilians much better than nearly any other conflict of this type, they should continue to do so, and they need to finish off Hamas. I don’t believe Biden has a secret Rafah strategy that doesn’t kill civilians and I don’t believe he’s even pretending to. He just has to appeal to the far left Hamas-adjacent voters in his party so they don’t abstain or vote third party, while also holding pro-Israel voters like me. Luckily Israel doesn’t answer to Biden, so they’re going to do what’s necessary to finish the job. If Biden actually cut off aid to Iron Dome for example over Israel invading Rafah I’d be concerned, but I think this is just an election strategy that I wish he didn’t have to do but unfortunately the coalition that doesn’t support Trump has to include the same people who support a theocracy in Palestine, where a “free Palestine” means a government in Palestine which executes gay people and has zero Jews.
