**Sure looks like “France and friends” are planning to do SOMETHING to introduce western troops into Ukraine in some capacity by the end of summer 2024.** It has been widely speculated that France and the growing list of international “Ukraine Military Relief Group” partners (Canada, Lithuania, Czech Republic, Estonia, Netherlands and likely Greece and others), should only gradually introduce non-combat troops in Ukraine in **optional non-lethal logistical, medical, maintenance, construction, training, surveillance and advisory roles** to create sufficient relief for Ukraine to prevail.
But this above video **map seems to presage a more robust and lethal “Military tripwire” western deployment** of defensive combat troops. The illustration map in this video shows 4 of Frances 22 divisions (in red), or 4 “France and Friends” divisions deployed on the Belarus border AND/OR an apparent deployment of 3 divisions of “French/Western Ukraine Military Support Group” (in blue) on the west side of the Dnipro! Wow! If Russia or Belarus dares to try to bomb or attack these defensive, or possibly non-lethal international military forces – **Russia will bring MAJOR pain down on itself with any violent action against these “defensive tripwire” combat troops.** French and western reaction to any such kinetic Russian action against the Western defensive tripwires is likely to be carefully pre-calculated, swift and devastating against Russia.
There will also probably be some sort of deployment of defensive allied forces in the Odessa and Transnistria border area as well. It’s very sensible and smart.
USA still busy discussing some BS meanwhile Europe discussed openly how to conduct war in next months with tens of milions killed minimum. USA gotta face reality at some point.

Nobody that is serious is actually thinking about placing French or other foreign forces on the front line because they would only follow the Ukrainians in a defensive manner and that would be mostly useless.
The only frontier would be belarus to lake more Ukrainians available on the front line. And that would be the “optimistic” scenario.
IF foreign forces are indeed involved that would probably first be non combat forces: rear line logistics, maintenance, anti air over western cities, demining, medical assistance on the rear line…
Well, considering that Belarus isnt part of the war (officially) then it would make sense to have peacekeepers on the border between Ukraine and Belarus. And that would free up Ukrainian troops that could be more useful elsewhere.
This will probably not happen knowing the « popularity » of this measure but you can argue that macron doesnt listen anyway the voice of his own citizens
Seriously, Russian been talking on TV how they would attack Europe and which cities they would nuke, this is just French media doing the same, it’s the only language Putin will understand.
The first option would to deploy troops along the Dniper and the 2nd along the border with Belarus.
He clarified it is not about quantity (no numbers mentioned) it’s about rapid deployment troops and the idea is simply deterrence because FR is a nuclear power.
They would go along likely with UK troops because they also are a nuclear power. Other countries (Poland, Germany, …) have less power, would go after.
He mentioned Macron has the power to deploy troops by himself whereas Germany needs to ask the parliament.

A lot of hopium is cool and all but we haven’t even seen basic but such important firsts steps as having west bordering NATO countries providing air defense. Poland and Romania should start with this before NATO troops are on the ground. They should also let Ukranian planes take off, land and be serviced in their territory. Otherwise troops on the ground can be as limited as the current forces are
