  1. Lo and behold, that is the **real** Russian opposition that actually makes an impact. They should be getting all the credit and support, not Navalnaya or other good-for-nothing talking heads.

  2. Real opposition that is actually doing things, unlike people known as good Russians who only generate selfies from what they call ‘protests’ – standing around for a bit and then going home to business as usual. The business here being fighting Ukrainians on social media — including Reddit and this sub — and hissing at suggestions that maybe they should at least donate to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

And it is very telling that the latter group seems to dislike the former: not only they don’t want to do anything themselves — they don’t want anything to be done at all.

  3. Internal squabbles in Russia are fine, let’s hope they have an effect on the bigger cities as that might have a direct impact on Putin.

I would still hope that some leader figure would arise from this who isn’t batshit crazy like a Putin v2. Russians seem to need a figurehead, as they see all other options as chaos like in the 90’s and will oppose it. Some gradiental change is needed once Putin is gone.

  4. The last one that tried this was shot down with his private jet…after believing in some sort of deal.

So bottom line here is, don’t fucking stop and get on with it.

  5. They are not Russian soldiers. They are Russians, from Russia, but Ukrainian soldiers. And, as mentioned above, the only real Russian opposition.

  6. Gotta love how the Russians went out of their skin to argue that Freedom of Russia and RDK were just Ukrainian ruse and now they’re wreaking havoc in Bilhorod for week already.

  7. This is the result of what happens when government denies democratic peaceful methods of showing dissatisfaction, people move to the *other* methods.

  8. Why do they choose to have a real army and not do more sabotage and resistance operations within Russia itself?

  9. they are western paid troublemakers, just like their own brand of BLM

  10. Freedom of Russia is alright I guess, but Russian Volunteer Corps are straight neo-nazis

  11. Isn’t that the second time? I think last year, around the same time there was another incursion of the free russion legion? Also in Belgorod. But i can’t remember how exactly the outcome was.
