As a Québécois, as most of us do, we can only empathize with Ukraine, we know what it is to live next to a neighbor that wich to eradicate your culture, making it meaningless when it could shine all around the world.

This makes no sense until you take into account that the Ukraine war is not simply an eruption of violence but a defense of great shared ideals.
The beacons are lit. That’s a metaphor. So what do the beacons represent? What was lit up and sent out by Ukraine?
Our shared ideals. Then, a car in the colors of Ukraine leading a St. Pattie’s Day parade makes perfect sense. Free people all know similar songs.
Blue + yellow = green. Great gesture and I’m glad we could fit support for our Ukrainian brothers and sisters within our own culture!
