  1. Sounds like Man Utd’s new owner, Sir Jim Ratcliffe, is aiming for a more sustainable transfer strategy. Instead of splashing cash on big names like Mbappe, he’s keen on scouting and nurturing future stars. Refreshing approach to building a team!

  2. I mean United have been throwing vast sums of money at the wall for years and it hasn’t really panned out. Perhaps a more measured approach isn’t a bad thing.

  3. It’s funny coming from the United owner based on their history since SAF left.

But it’s actually the reason why you don’t see PL clubs come to the table. Talks of a 200 million (believe it’s euros) signing on fee, probably wages that reach 500k plus, bonuses, probably have to give up a portion of image rights, and always have to deal with him in the media. If he came to the PL it’d be a constant media cycle about him going to Real. For the sum you’d give Mbappe you can probably get 2-3 starting level players for a big 6 club

  4. If London is too cold for him (and that’s exactly what he said) the North of England is definitely a No No
